How can you choose a good advisor for writing dissertation? Will any advisor in your area of knowledge work? An intelligent person always says, “It is not difficult to ask, because you will only give two answers – yes or no.” So, any instructor is either willing to help or he is not. But, it is significant to locate an advisor who knows well your topic and writing dissertation process itself.
The first step in selecting an advisor for your writing dissertation is to get acquainted with him. You can do this by means of reading articles that they have written. Also, you can visit their classrooms or spend time speaking with him.
The second step is to talk to other graduates. You can visit with them if possible. You should ask what their relationships look like with their instructors. Were they fast in assisting the graduate while needed? Select an advisor wishing to spend time with you to help you in writing your dissertation.
A good instructor is more than a person who technically gives you recommendations through the process. But a good instructor is one who spends time conversing with you and answering your questions. A good instructor becomes a friend willing you to achieve success in your education. In most ways, a good instructor is like a mentor teaching you the steps in dissertation. Usually these may be hard to find, but an adviser is like a friend wishing to be with you while the going becomes rough.
